In an anonymous village, horologist Mussenden from the novel the Horologist, tries to solve the Mystery of Time with a helping hand from of a Locksmith, which one day arrived walking though the fields. The Locksmith can produce keys of an unusual quality- this gives him the powerful Allies as an enemy.
