Kandida

An allegory. A cartoon. A piece of twisted psychedelic realism.
Kari discovers her brilliant aunt K dead in the basement laboratory. As she doesn’t have anything better to do, Kari moves into the basement to sort out the dead mycologist’s papers for posthumous publication. But the lab notes (written with a green pen on yellow legal pads) seem to be living a life of their own.
Kandida is the first book in a series of loosely connected novels and stories, which together make up the solipsistic epic MYSELF or: Life Cycle of the Mycanthrope.
