The Red Zone

A Norwegian representative of the Rainforest Fund is found, decaptitated, in Tanjung, New Guinea. And, not long afterwards, the body of the Norwegian investigator sent to solve the murder appears – also decapitated. Skarphedin Olsen is the next man on the job. He convinces his nephew, Fredric Drum, to accompany him to Tanjung, which is nightmarishly humid and hot, lawless and poverty stricken.

In the tenth novel about Fredric Drum and Skarpehdin Olsen a circle is completed. Gert Nygårdshaug has created an impressive crime series which is elegantly brought to a close in The Red Zone.
